CLOSER is well-Known as the Mike Nichols’ film version with Julia Roberts, Clive Owen, Natalie Portman and Jude Law. The original play was made long before the film. The play has more dynamic to the story. This stage version has more dynamics to each character is, of course, more exciting, and live on stage. It explores love, sex & other crimes of hearts through in the lives of four lovers. Intense, funny and devastating, CLOSER was an immediate success following its 1997 debut, winning the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Foreign Play; the Olivier Award for Best New Play; the London Critics Circle Award for Best Play, and the Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy.
This is a dark, adult-themed play, which has not been premiered in North Hollywood in over a decade and is sure to thrill and delight.
